EAPN en Madrid (18-20/11/2010)
European Anti Poverty Network Evento
Los días 18-19-20 de Noviembre, EAPN organiza un congreso a nivel nacional en Madrid, que darà visbilidad a las situaciones y problematicas a las que se enfrentan personas en riesgo de exclusión social. En este contexto se presentarà el proyecto 736ideas4adream y se mostraran un aselección de las más de 736 imagenes creadas or personas en toda Europa.

Videoworkshops in Berlin

During an exhibition of the 736 postcards, organized by Pfefferwerk Stadtkultur and DIMI in Berlin, a video workshop was also held, where visitors could share their impressions of the exhibits as well as their thoughts about social exclusion.

Art happening, Heusden-Zolder, Belgium
On this annual art happening in Heusden-Zolder, the 736ideas books will be given to the participants of the project and to some politicians. The local community politicians (Mayor and members of the council) are invited to create a 3 dimensional postcard – artwork : make a school bench with your dream to make social exclusion history … During the special meeting on Sunday, 7th November, this project gets extra attention.

Wandering Exhibition in Berlin (Oct 2010)
Opening 22nd of October 2010, from 4 to 6pm
We are exhibiting all the 736 postcards! Videos will also be shown, as well as a short theater performance by the "Theater Göttliche Samen". The catalogs and printed postcards will be handed out to the participants. A video workshop will make it possible for visitors to leave their impression of the exhibits as well as their thoughts about social exclusion. This is the first time all of the images will be shown in Berlin. The exhibition will then wander from organization to organization. Welcome to everyone!

The house of the bears (ongoing, since June 2010)
STORYTELLING Heusden-Zolder, Belgium
“Het Berenhuis” ( The house of the Bears ) is Storytelling and working with “Mouzart”, a mouse with a stubborn dream. It is a permanent action of Art 27 about art education and languages. Because Art 27 is convinced that different projects need interaction and good ideas / projects have to be implemented in the daily work of the organization, so Art 27 coupled the two projects “736ideas4adream“ and “Het Berenhuis”.
In “Het Berenhuis” we work with a story of “Mouzart” … a little mouse that dreams to become a new Mozart …
This story in 10 different languages helps discuss with children and adults how to make dreams come true, overcome obstacles, exclusion and finding support to address difficult situations.
Reaction of both children and adults, are very promising : the story is a save eye opener … people can start to talk about the mouse instead of their personal situation.

Fairtrade Fashion for kids (September 2010)
CC Muze – Heusden-Zolder, Belgium
Art 27 and the 736ideas4adream project were invited on this Fairtrade Fashion show.
Art 27 organized a printing workshop where kids of all ages could choose an image out of the 736 ideas/postcards.
The 736ideas4adream – toolkit designed by Art 27 was presented.

736ideas on the PEACEBOAT (01-06/09/2010)
WORKSHOP from Europe to Japan and back
Tomás Guido from Transit Projects (Madrid, Spain) guided a workshop with Japanese women and men of all ages, passengers on the Peaceboat, traveling from Japan around the world. The workshop provided a space to share personal experiences and discuss issues about social exclusion and peace, in Europe and beyond...

736ideas4adream book launch (04/09/2010)
Ceremony for the receipt of the special albums that were created within the project
KE.S.S.A. Dimtra organized the presentation of the book with the 736 images/postcards produced for the project, and a video projection concerning the works that were created by participants from all countries and an exhibition of works that were created by Greek participants. Moreover, there was a presentation of a documentary series, based on the 736ideas4adream project. The series entitled “One Society… One Dream” will be broadcast by the National Greek TV Channel (ERT) from October 2010.

Mayfield Arts, Newbury House organizes this fest to: give a platform to young people to participate; give young people the opportunity to develop and showcase their creative ability; create space to explore local and global citizenship; create space for young people to raise awareness of local and global citizenship themes.

Child & Mental Health
WORKSHOP (17/06/2010)
KE.S.S.A. Dimtra in cooperation with N.G.O. “Athina” organized an informational open workshop with the participation of institutions from the health sector, journalists, members of N.G.O.s, psychologists and social workers. During the workshop, specialists talked about issues concerning children and mental health. There was a presentation of the “736 Ideas for a dream” project, a video projection of ideas-works created by Greek participants as well as an exhibition of works created by children or that dealt with child issues.

9 May - Europe Day 2010 - Barcelona, Spain
International participants, exhibition and more... at the Convent Sant Augustí in Barcelona, the ideas and images collected so far will be presented at a celebration with participants from 6 countries who have been willing to share their ideas with all of us.
